Microsoft's Peruvian Peony

DOB: 7/15/2001
Species: Alpaca
Category: Experienced Female
Color: Light Fawn

Microsoft's Peruvian Peony was purchased at a Pacific Crest Alpacas auction. We were told that she had the best histogram of any alpaca in the auction. She was very sweet and had such nice fleece we felt that her price would exceed our budget. However, at one point in the auction everyone was busy talking about the sale of a male for $168,000. At that point Peony came up for sale and while few were paying attention we bought her.

Heritage: Peony's ancestors include PPeruvian Camillio G461, PCA Peruvian Microsoft, and Peruvian Quequena.

Fleece: This Full Peruvian female has a lustrous fleece that is a wonderful light caramel color with an even fine crimp. Her 2012 fleece was 23 microns.

Conformation: Nice conformation with straight legs and back, and a really sweet face and nice head are all part of the package.

Progeny: Peony is a great mom and has passed on her fine soft fleece to all of her offspring, and they in turn have passed it on to her grand cria. Peony has given us a line of alpacas that have genetically fine fleece.

Peony is an experienced female with many great cria in her future.
